I have started digital painting early February 2002 and I've been drawing sketches of "weird-out of this world-looking" type terrains for some time now and still… I don't know why, I just love the feel of being somewhere where we can't possibly be and that is what this site is all about.

By the way... my name's gene dequito, a filipino in his mid 20's, living within the city of davao, philippines. I grew up and finished my studies here at ateneo de davao university with a bachelors degree in marketing. I have completed my web animation and design studies at genetic computer institute davao, thus making this my first homepage.

I love creating designs and artworks using photoshop as well as animations in flash. Its my new found hobby. speaking of hobbies I can also say that I've been a game addict, and a competitive one at that. I usually play "role playing games" and RTS games in the PC and been a CCG player of games such as magic:the gathering and middle earth.

I've also designed my own RPG game as a hobby and still have not finished it after three long years of thinking about game design & mechanics.

asides from staring at the monitor for hours, I also spend my free time writing short stories as well as writing modules for RPG campaigns. I also gave time composing and making music behind the piano and my keyboard. I've played with a local band for about three years (that was years ago), but found no credits with it ( I've won the best keyboardist yamaha 1998 but that was just about it ), and so I get on with life.

now that I've found myself in yet another new hobby (web designing), I think
I'm gonna be spending most of my time with this one.

at first terragen really has nothing to do with my site, ars imaginaRe (art of imagination) was a photoshop gallery. It used to feature my works in photoshop which I had created manually, but now that I have found out about terragen, my site suddenly shifted, and ars imaginaRe was never the same.

creating dreamscapes in "terragen" has been a big change in my desires to
recreate worlds far from where we are, and this has been the core of my site. I am a fan and a supporter of "terragen". It just releases the world within me, a world which I am glad to share with you, a world inside my mind's eye.
